The Party

What do you do when a national broadcaster asks you to create a mini-series from the ground up in ten days? You do it, of course. This May, I was part of a group that did just that.

Our official bio:

The Party is a group of independent Vancouver based comedians, writers, performers, film professionals and digital strategists. Together we form a comprehensive and highly efficient creative production and promotion unit.  Each member of our group brings a unique set of talents to every project, creating a modern-day version of Orson Welles’ Mercury Theatre (but with more Facebook).  After The Party’s website, ShitHarperDid.com received 4.1 million hits in its first 72 hours online, CTV News commissioned the group to produce a comedy series to compliment the national network’s election coverage. In just 10 days, the group wrote, shot, and edited a high quality five-episode series about a group of young Canadians who start their own political party.  The mini-series garnered critical and audience acclaim.
